Privacy Policy

Grove Signal is an internal marketing operations platform built and used exclusively by Lilac Grove Entertainment, an independent publishing and entertainment company, to manage advertising and marketing operations for our own book and product launches. It is not a consumer product, is not distributed or resold, and is not made available to the public or to any third party — access is restricted to Lilac Grove Entertainment employees signed in with their company Google Workspace account.

Employee identity. Sign-in uses Google OAuth, restricted to verified accounts on Lilac Grove Entertainment’s own Google Workspace domain. We receive the employee’s name and email address, used only to identify who is using the platform and what they’re permitted to do in it.

Connected business accounts. An authorized employee may connect the company’s own accounts on Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Drive, Amazon Ads, Amazon Attribution, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Shopify, and Slack. Credentials (OAuth tokens or API keys) for these connections are encrypted at rest and are never displayed again once saved.

Campaign and marketing data. Once connected, we read performance data (spend, clicks, impressions, conversions, revenue), search terms, and keyword data from those platforms via their own APIs, for internal reporting and campaign optimization.

Company documents. With Google Drive connected, we read company-owned marketing and strategy documents to ground AI-assisted features in accurate, real information about our own products.

All of the above is used solely for Lilac Grove Entertainment’s own internal marketing operations: reporting on real performance, researching and proposing campaign changes, and drafting marketing content for our team’s review. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with any third party except the ad platforms and business tools our own team has explicitly connected, and the AI service providers described below.

Some features use a third-party AI model (Anthropic’s Claude) to analyze the data described above and draft recommendations, summaries, or content. Data sent to this provider is used only to generate the result returned within Grove Signal, per that provider’s own data-handling terms.

Every automated recommendation is reviewed and explicitly approved or rejected by a human team member before any change is made to a live, connected account. Every proposal and every decision is recorded in an internal audit log.

Grove Signal’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Connected account data is retained for as long as needed for our own internal business operations. An authorized employee can disconnect any integration at any time, which deletes its stored credentials. To request deletion of other data, contact us below.
